Spider Drop

Spider Drop is a new tradition that takes place the night before classes start. It's our take on the New Years drop which will symbolize the start of the new school year. There will be a live band featuring HDBEENDOPE, photo booth, and all the cookies you can scarf down. Click here for more information!
Hometown Throwdown

Hometown Throwdown is the first ever home game celebration kick off. All Spiders are welcome to join us at the Millhiser Green for a fun time before the game starts. There will be a Mechanical Bison and a Mechanical Spider to represent the Richmond vs Howard football game. We will also have a live DJ, lawn games, food, giveaways, and other fun activities. Hometown Throwdown will provide a space for students to gather Spider Pride and get excited for the game. After our event we hope that everyone goes to the game and supports our Richmond football team. Click here for more information!
Activities Night

Activities Night provides an inclusive space for all campus students to have fun and make meaningful connections. Activities include sports, board games, video games, inflatables, and obstacle courses. Food trucks will also be provided. This event makes sure that the activities cover all aspects of student interests and allow students to just relax at one night. Click here for more information!
WOW Concert Feat. Charlotte Sands

WOW & Modlin Center for the Arts are excited to host the first WOW Concert feat. Charlotte Sands. Heavily inspired by 2000s pop-punk Charlotte Sands also takes lyrical inspiration from folk singer/songwriters, creating music with a message and stories of positivity. Her live shows have been described as "electric", as she easily establishes a bond with fans via her energetic and uplifting presence and bright sounds, quickly making a name for herself as a fierce spokesperson for Gen Z rock-n-roll.
