RSO Awards
The Center for Student Involvement holds a yearly awards ceremony in April of the school year to celebrate the acheivements and successes of our 170+ student organizations. These awards encompass various different leadership areas from event planning, diversity and inclusion, as well as service.
Nominations for the RSO awards will open in early March and close two weeks before the ceremony itself.

Outstanding Community Service RSO Award
This award represents an organization’s commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community surrounding UR. We appreciate all organizations that reach into the community and make a meaningful impact and want to recognize this organization for going above and beyond through their service efforts.

Quigg Award
This award is presented to an organization who shows an outstanding commitment to philanthropic work each year. This specific award comes with a $2,500 financial benefit towards the winning organization.

Outstanding Fraternity or Sorority Award
This award goes to the chapter the truly exhibited what it means to be a member of the Greek community. Their commitment to their mission and vison as well as their excellent operations and abidance to the rules and policies of CSI and the university are what made this organization the obvious choice.

President’s Honor
This award goes to the chapter president who showed commitment to the operations and guidance of their chapter as well as sought to help the chapter grow in more ways than just membership.

Most Impactful Event Award
This award recognizes the event that impacted the largest amount of students on campus with the most creative and engaging activities.

Educational Program of the Year
This award recognizes the best educational program hosted by an RSO, judged by the goal of the program and its impact.

Outstanding RSO President Award
This award goes to the president who shows the highest level of commitment to their RSO through effective planning, and leading of all activities of the organization.

RSO Advisor of the Year Award
Award recognizes the advisor who is the most involved and shows support to their RSO’s events and mission.

New RSO Excellence Award
This award recognizes the RSO that started within the last year who has operated the most successfully; hosting events, meeting, recruiting, as well as making a positive impact at UR

RSO Of the Year Award
This award recognizes the RSO that has impacted the UR community the most through events, leadership, and overall opportunities for community members to experience their offerings.
Award which recognizes an organization’s efforts to build community, promote inclusivity, and/or advocate for social change.
