Structure

  • SpiderBoard is currently comprised of a senior executive board of four students, a junior executive board of three students, and a general board of 18 students. The senior executive board is made up of the President, Vice President of Administration, Vice President of Public Relations, and Vice President of Events. The junior executive board consists of the Major Events Chair, SpiderNights Chair, and Public Relations Chair. Each general board member serves on one of three committees (Major Events, SpiderNights, or Public Relations) led by the corresponding executive board members.

Responsibilities

  • SpiderBoard members work to create, plan, execute, and assess student-facing University programs throughout the year. Members are expected to meet once a week within their committee and once a month as a full board. Every executive member meets once a week with the SpiderBoard supervisor, and all members are expected to complete a weekly office hour.

Salary

  • $14/hr- Senior Executive Board Members
  • $13/hr- Junior Executive Board Members
  • $12- General Board Members

Hiring

  • SpiderBoard is not currently hiring, but stay tuned for updates on the 2024-25 academic year.
Opportunities

All members of SpiderBoard have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in fall and spring leadership workshops
  • Access free SpiderBoard swag and apparel
  • Gain entry to any ticketed SpiderBoard event that may have limited capacity for attendance
  • All executive members of SpiderBoard have the opportunity to:
  • Attend the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) conference each academic year.
  • Serve on University committees
