Drives and Collection Boxes
Student organizations and University of Richmond offices and departments may host drives and place collection boxes in the Tyler Haynes Commons (THC) after receiving approval from the Center for Student Involvement. All requests must receive confirmation either through SpiderCentral or via email.
APPROVED DONATION BOX LOCATIONS:

One spot in front of each of the bulletin boards

Reserving Space
All requests to reserve donation box space must be made at least three business days in advance and submitted via a SpiderCentral Event Form for all registered student organizations. For all University-affiliated offices or departments, please email involved@richmond.edu with your request. A request does not guarantee a tabling space. You must receive a confirmation from the Center for Student Involvement.
When completing your request, the following information is needed:
- Purpose of the Drive/Donation
- Start and End Dates
- Who will be responsible for checking/emptying the boxes

Set-Up and Take Down and Checks
The Center for Student Involvement does not provide donation/drive boxes. Organizations, departments and offices are required to provide all necessary materials for their drive.
Organizations, departments, and offices are required to regularly check and maintain their boxes. If they are getting full, it is the responsibility of the group to empty them. Failure to empty boxes or remove them at the end of your reservation may result in the suspension of privileges for your group.
The Center for Student Involvement does not provide storage or hold items for donations.
