MGC Membership Intake
Membership Intake is the process through which Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) fraternities and sororities welcome new members. Each organization sets its own intake schedule, which may occur once or twice a year, depending on chapter needs and national guidelines.
Chapters host interest or informational meetings where students learn about the organization’s mission, values, and membership expectations. These sessions outline the application process, academic and community standards, and financial obligations.
Interested students must:
- Submit a membership application and participate in an interview or review process.
- If selected, complete the Membership Intake Process (MIP)
Once the MIP is completed, new members are formally initiated and presented to the campus community.
Each MGC chapter manages its own intake independently, but all emphasize learning, leadership, service, and community engagement.
