Aaron Mahmod (he/him), Assistant Director of Student Organizations joined the University of Richmond in December of 2022. Aaron provides leadership and guidance to our 170+ student organizations as well as oversees the finance processes for all university funded student organizations.
Aaron received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington and his Masters from Old Dominion University.
Before coming to Richmond, Aaron spent three years organizing and running new student programs and orientation at the University of Maryland Baltimore County as well as North Carolina State University. Being a first-generation college student himself, Aaron’s background is cemented in student success, and he focuses on ensuring students find their fit and succeed in their collegiate careers and beyond.
In his free time, he likes being active, getting outside, and exploring all of the restaurants and shops Richmond has to offer
