    Marissa Miller (she/her) is the Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life in the Center for Student Involvement at the University of Richmond. In this role, she supports the University’s fraternity and sorority community through chapter advising, leadership development, and values-based programming, working closely with student leaders, advisors, and national partners.

    Marissa joined Richmond in 2024 as Assistant Director of Student Organizations, where she advised more than 180 student groups, led the Student Organization Budget and Appropriations Committee (SOBAC) process, and enhanced engagement tools like SpiderCentral to better serve students. She began her career in higher education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earning her Master’s in College Student Personnel while supporting student activities and engagement.

    She is passionate about building strong student communities, making involvement more accessible, and helping students turn ideas into action. Outside the office, Marissa enjoys exploring Richmond with her fiancée, planning creative projects, and spending time with her two cats, Ollie and Baz.
