Tyler Haynes Commons

At the heart of campus, Tyler Haynes Commons is a central hub to hang out, grab a meal, play pool or video games, or attend an event!

Offering a ballroom, lounge areas, meeting and event spaces, two dining facilities, the Spider Shop, and a variety of student and student org support services, Tyler Haynes Commons brings students, faculty, and staff together as a community.

The building is open daily from 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.; after hours, faculty, staff, and students can access the building using their SpiderCard. There is an elevator and three stairwells in the building to access the three floors of the building. Restrooms are located on each floor, including two all-gender restrooms, located on the second floor between the Spider Shop and Student Involvement.

In case of inclement weather, the storm shelter is located on the first floor nearest to the Cellar pub.
